About Lea
Meet Lea, the vibrant soul behind "Rise & Sparkle Creatives" and affectionately known as Sparkle Mama. Lea is a passionate advocate for reconnecting with the inner child and unlocking creativity through the power of play. Her belief in the transformative nature of play extends beyond her workshops, as she encourages others to embrace their imaginative selves.
As a self-published author, Lea has shared her wisdom in the crafty journal, 'Just Play!'. In this delightful journal, Lea provides prompts that guide readers on a journey to rediscover the joy of play. Through her words, Lea inspires others to tap into their creativity, fostering a sense of childlike wonder in every aspect of life. For Lea, it's not just about crafting; it's about cultivating a mindset of playfulness and unleashing the boundless potential that resides within each individual.
Beyond her artistic endeavors, Lea co-founded "Unshakeable Me!" – a summer camp focused on emotional empowerment for teen girls. This program reflects Lea's commitment to holistic well-being, fostering resilience and self-esteem in a supportive environment.
Lea also has decades of formal training to bring to the table including a Bachelor of Education from Nipissing University. She is also a certified Yoga teacher and has completed levels 1 and 2 as a Points-of-You facilitator. Much like her beloved crochet creations she weaves all of these skills seamlessly into transformative and fun workshops for all ages.
